Few people have sat in the CFO, COO, development and compliance seats. I have, and now I bring all four to every client, so the pieces work together instead of against each other.

What I learned along the way is that most churches don't have a money problem. They have people who love God and want to give, and a system that makes it hard to see where their giving goes. I fix the system, so the generosity already in the pews can do what God intended.

I started Lawson Consulting in 2021 to do that work for more than one organization at a time. Today I serve churches, Christian colleges and ministries across the country as an outsourced chief development officer, campaign leader and fractional CFO: on site when it matters, remotely when it doesn't.

Where the experience comes from

CFO, operations, development and compliance. I've held every seat at the table.
